The Encyclopedia of Lesbian Movie Scenes

     Happy New Year, everyone! This is the time when we both reflect on the past, and look ahead. So this update will have a couple of celebrity items from days gone by, along with items on contemporary and lovely celebs who may be new to many of you.

     The story behind this first link goes all the way back to the end of WW2. An Italian aircraft company was looking for a new product they could make that would keep the factory doors open until the post-war aviation industry took off again. The engineers came up with a promising idea, an aerodynamically-styled motor scooter. The prototype scooter was nicknamed "Vespa" - Italian for wasp- because of the buzzing sound of the scooter's 2-cycle engine. The name stuck and the Vespa became a big hit. The company decided to create a cheesecake calendar to help promote the scooter. The first calendars came out in the early Fifties, and they used artwork for the illustrations. But a few years alter, they switched to using photos of European and American starlets. Some of the actresses who appeared on the Vespa calendars during the Sixties were Raquel Welch, Jayne Mansfield, and Bond Girl Claudine Auger all posed in skimpy outfits.This web page has thumbs for most if not all the calendar photos from the Fifties through the early Seventies. http://vespaclub.online.fr/affiches/calend/calendar.htm Way down at the bottom of the page, you'll find that John Wayne appeared in Vespa calendar.      A few months back, I posted an item on up and coming actress Chelan Simmons. Since then, her role in "Good Luck Chuck" has been selected as one of the top 20 nude scenes by Mr. Skin. A high five to Chelan.

      After modeling for several years,. Lisa moved into acting and writing. The Bollywood press has been abuzz with the rumor that Ms. Ray has a nude lesbian love scene in the upcoming film, "I Can't Think Straight." I think the movie is something I'd enjoy seeing. Ray's love interest in the movie is played by Indian-American actress Sheetal Sheth. Her name sounds like the name of a princess from an Edgar Rice Burroughs novel.       Speaking of captivating...There's a whole genre of films about women in prison. OK, that's a clunky segue, but bear with me. There's a web site called "The Encyclopedia of Women in Prison Films," and it has pages & pages of entries.  Premiumwanadoo.com

      All these "babes behind bars" flicks have plenty of opportunities for nudity, so this might be good place find some ideas on what to feed your DVD player in the New Year. Note: several of the links listed on that site's link page are broken.

      Guess these last two items could be called "A rose by any other name." Translating names written in one language into another tongue can be problematic- the writing systems are different, the sounds are different, etc. As a result alternate spellings exist, and this is especially true when Asian names are rendered into English. For example- Bae Du-na is a very popular young actress in South Korea. I've seen her name given as Du-Na Bae, Doona Bae, and Doo-na Bae. However you spell it, she's a Ba(b)e. One online article praised her "expressive eyes seemingly stenciled from a manga comic" and a "smile with enough electricity to light up the Inchon peninsula."       This is the actress's official web site, but nearly the whole site is in Korean. While I can locate Korea on a map, I don't know the language. http://doona.net/ The "Multimedia" section does have a bunch of pics that can be downloaded, and navigation is no problem- just click on the arrows to go ahead or back.She has done a couple of hot nude scenes in her career, but vidcaps and clips of them are hard to find.

      Several months back, I posted an item on Japan's busty "gravure idols". Just recently, I saw photos of an exciting Japanese model goes by the name "Sola Aoi" or alternately, "Sora Aoi." Whichever, the name translates as "sky blue." On this blog page, there are a few pics of the buxom skygirl. You can also read a debate as to whether her boobs are real or fake.      Hey folks, sorry I haven't been able to update this page in a few weeks. This time out, there's links for a Canadian actress, a Bulgarian model, and a bunch of curious stories.

     For starters, Last summer, I mentioned a fun sci-fi/ horror flick from Canada titled "Decoys 2." I searched for reviews of this movie and found a site called "Canuxploitation" that takes a tongue-in-cheek look at Canada's B-movies past and present.

     Indulge me here for a moment... The following trio of links has little to do with celebs. I wanted to note a red letter day in Canadian aviation history: October 4th, 1957. It was on that day a half-century ago that AVRO Aircraft rolled out a new jet fighter, the Arrow. The Arrow was simply the fastest and most advanced aircraft of its type in the world at that time. The design of the Arrow was an impressive accomplishment for Canada's aviation industry. But a sad fate awaited the remarkable jet. Only a handful of Arrows were completed before a new Prime Minister came into office with a cost-cutting agenda. The Arrow project got the axe-quite literally. All the completed aircraft were chopped up and scrapped!

     Many Canadians still recall the Arrow with pride. In 1997, the CBC aired a docu-drama on the AVRO Arrow starring Dan Aykroyd. The show garnered the second highest ratings for any CBC TV presentation up to that time.

     There are so many online sites on the Arrow that I can't list them all, so here are two of the biggest: One and Two.

     And now for a sexy Canadian product of much more recent vintage. This is the official site for the tres cute Canadian actress, Chelan Simmons. She went topless in last year's "Final Destination 3" and Mr. Skin reports that the blonde Vancouverite has a topless scene in the new Jessica Alba comedy, "Good Luck Chuck."

     Here is a bit of trivia concerning the actress. I had assumed that her unusual first name might be Gaelic in origin, but some checking revealed that Chelan is a Native American word from the Salish language family meaning "deep water."

     This is a bizarre news item from the world of technology that I'll call "The Six Million Dollar Cockroach." It is a comment on our times that in place of bold new aircraft designs, we have now turned to creating cyborg bugs. And it occurred to me that all that is needed to counter these cyber roaches is a cheap can of insect spray- or just a rolled up newspaper.

     Guys, just practice your Barry White imitation and the ladies will be lining up for your services. Just keep plenty of condoms on hand.

     I probably should just make this site my start page, since its usually the first place I visit everyday. Goddess Post has about a dozen new amateur model photos each day. Most of the babes are fairly cute, and there's always one or two girls that make you say, "Wow!" Visitors can vote for their favorite model of the day, and visitors can also submit their own photos for the next day's post. A really fun site.

     Finally we come to the Bulgarian model that I promised. Her name is Ginka Lazarova. (I'm sure coming up with some exotically named girls this time around!) She is a 21 years old and you can see a preview of her 2008 calendar at this Italian site. If you like the photos, Babes of Babylon has some much larger versions available online in the subscribers' area.

     Perhaps this update should be called "Idol Thoughts." The first item here is from the Moviesnxs forum. The author of the entry claims that digital techniques are being used to create virtual reality nude scenes. Gee... up to now the question has been are are an actresses' boobs real or silicone? Perhaps now we have to wonder if an actress was really nude or not.

     The main topic for this update is a phenomenon from Japan called "Gravure Idols." Gravure Idols are busty models who pose in bikinis or lingerie. There seems to be an unwritten rule that Gravure Idols don't pose topless, or fully nude. Here's an introduction to the pantheon of Japan's breast goddesses.

     One of the most popular Gravure Idols is Megumi Kagurazaka. She is the proud possessor of a 92 cm ( 37 inch) chest. That's a pretty impressive rack , especially so for a girl who stands a petite 5 foot 2. Here is a blog entry that reports Megumi will break the taboo on posing topless.      This next site has more photos of Megumi along with pics of many other Gravure Idols and nude Japanese models. This is a big page, and will take time to load, but its definitely worth visiting. Be sure to check out one of my favorite Gravure Idols, Ayaka Akimoto, when you visit.

     Currently, the most popular Gravure Idol in Japan is Aki Hoshino. At the age of 30, she remains on top of the Gravure Idol pagoda. Surely, Aki's basic appeal comes from her expansive 34F bust, but clearly she has some real star quality that has made her perennially popular.      Along with modeling, Aki has done some acting, and her screen credits include a non-nude supporting role in the 2004 release "Kekko Kamen Returns." Who is Kekko Kamen? Well, glad you asked! Kekko Kamen - which means "wonderful mask"- is a Japanese superheroine. She first appeared in "manga"i.e comics, and has since been the subject of numerous animated and live action movies. Her outfit consists of a red mask, gloves, and boots- and nothing else. That's right! This superbabe battles evil in the buff. The tagline for the films is, "She lost her costume, but she's never lost a fight." Naturally, Kekko Kamen is adept at martial arts. Her killer move is to lock a villain's head between her naked thighs and squeeze. Fans have dubbed this unique move "muffication."

     Here is a well-illustrated site about Kekko Kamen that covers her adventures in all media. My fantasy is that Hollywood will make a big-budget Kekko Kamen movie starring Jessica Alba as the naked ninja.

     No, it ain't gonna happen, but the dreams are fun.

      Over the last couple of weeks I've watched an eclectic selection of DVD's. These include Clint Eastwood's "Letters from Iwo Jima" and Ingmar Bergman's "The Seventh Seal." These are excellent movies, too be sure, but their themes are pretty heavy- War, Plagues, Death. After seeing them, it was time for some escapist fun. I'm kind of a fan of low-budget sci-fi, so when I spotted "Decoys 2: The Second Seduction" at a local video store, it looked like a good prospect for some light entertainment.

      The plot is pretty simple. blond space babes arrive at a college campus, and they want to mate with earthmen. Now what could be wrong with that? Oh, its just that the hapless human horndogs end up quick frozen, so their bodies can be used as repositories for the alien's eggs. Talk about colder than a witch's tit, these space chicks are from, like, Planet Birdseye.

      Admittedly, the special effects in "Decoys 2" do look cheap, but the general quality of the acting was better than I expected. The film has a lot of dark humor, and I got a kick out of the retro surf sound of the theme song. And saving the best for last- four actresses bare their boobs. Not bad.

      Actress and cable TV host Kim Poirier reprises her role as an alien babe from the original "Decoys." However, she doesn't unleash her lolas in the sequel, as she reportedly did for the first movie.

      It wasn't until the closing credits ran, that I learned that "Decoys 2" is a Canadian flick. It was filmed at the University of Alberta at Edmonton. And a little googling turned up this bit of trivia. The top-billed actress in the movie, Kailin See, had been a waitress at an Edmonton restaurant prior to getting her role in the film.

      I'll turn to a couple other items now. Mr Nude Celeb has added some celebrity forums to the links lists lately. I'll add another. Its called A Class Celebs. Its free and I found some nice photos there.

      As they used to say on Monty Python, "And now for something completely different." The recent news stories on Ms Hilton and Ms Lohan, reminded me of a particular web page that features celebrity mugshots. Along with a bunch of actors and actresses, there are sports stars and... Bill Gates? Yep! Who'd have guessed?

      First off, I have to say thanks to Rokwatch for his great vidcaps of nude Bond Girls. That was an exciting two-part posting.

      Welsh babe Seren Gibson has become a very popular model in the UK. Drop in to this unofficial fan site, and you will see why she has such "enormous" appeal. This page has a few more photos of Seren.

      Did the ancient Egyptians invent bowling? Maybe this explains why King Tut's sarcophagus resembled nothing so much as a giant bowling trophy.

      Its "deja vu all over again" as the expression goes. There are yet more reports that starlet Brittany Snow is getting naked in yet another movie.

      Last September, rumors circulated online stating that the blonde actress had nude scenes in the indie flick "On the Doll." That film has not yet been released. Last week a Vegas magazine published an interview with Ms. Snow in which she spoke about a new film project "Black Water Transit." In that film, she said she would "wear nothing the entire time." From what I can learn, this movie is currently being shot in New Orleans, so it will be several months before "Black Water" makes it to the screens. Meanwhile, we will just have to wait and see if the promised nudity becomes reality. Well, at least there is a rather sexy pic of Brittany Snow showing lots of cleavage at the link above.

      The last update had a retro theme. Here is another web site that looks the swinging past.

      "Vegas Retro" is run by a veteran Vegas photographer. The site is heavily illustrated with his pix from the Las Vegas during the heyday of the Rat Pack. There's Ann-Margaret, Dino, and loads of showgirls. The Glamour section includes some nice nudes. Among the nudes is a great photo of Angelique Pettyjohn. Fans of the original Star Trek series will remember her as the glamorous female gladiator Shahna in the episode "The Gamesters of Triskelion." You can read an online tribute to the actress and Las Vegas entertainer here.

      Moving to present day Las Vegas... I watched some episodes of CSI on DVD last week. One guest star was an actress, Natasha Alam, who happened to be quite attractive in an unconventional fashion. She has an official web site.

      And no, the "ntashaalam" in the URL above is correct and not one of my usual typos!

      Her online bio says she is a model/ actress/ musician and her original home is far off Uzbekistan. That explains her exotic looks. This review states that she has a nude scene in a new flick, which also star Jolene Blalock.

      So, as Elvis put it in a song, "I'm just a devil with love to spare, so Viva Las Vegas!"
